Ever had the desire to learn how to fish? This Saturday, June 11 take your family on a trip to Spot Pond in Stoneham and join the Family Fishing Festival. Designed for all ages, learn about the ethics of fishing, different kinds of fish, fishing equipment, and how to cast a line.

You don’t need your own equipment, but if you already have it, bring it along! Let your curiosity guide you and get ready for a weekend of wet and wild fun. Meet at “Straw Point” at the corner of RTE. 28 and South St. at 9 a.m. The event will last until 1 p.m.
